Samsung Galaxy Note 8 receives FCC certification

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has received FCC certification, marking another necessary step before release to the public. You know what that means - another line of hideous markings on the back of the phone.

The Note 7 that wasn't meant to be now lives on as the Note FE

Seriously though, the US telecom regulator has carried out the required testing and deemed the Note 8 consumer ready. There are, of course, piles of technical documentation on the FCC website you can sift through if that's your thing.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is to be unveiled on August 23 in New York City, and should hopefully help us finally put the whole Note 7 behind us once and for all.
